Loft Information
Collegiate Marketing, Inc. offers a bed loft rental program in partnership with the United Student in Residence Halls (USRH) at UW-Oshkosh. A portion of the rental fee goes back to USRH to improve student housing programs.

FAQ
Will I need any tools to assemble my bed loft?
No - all hardware is fastened with wing nuts. Assembly takes about 10 minutes, and instructions are included with your loft.
If I want to put a desk or futon underneath the loft, what are the dimensions?
76" Long x 54" or 60" High (height is adjustable). In halls with sprinklers (North Scott and South Scott), lofts must be on the lowest setting. The desk, dresser or microwave/refrigerator included with the room will fit underneath the loft.
If I have questions about my loft, who do I contact?
Contact Collegiate Marketing directly online on the “Contact Us” page at www.bedloft.com, and be sure to provide as much information as possible.
What happens if I change my mind about renting?
All monies paid to reserve the loft are refundable if you cancel before the start of the school year. You need to log in to your account on www.bedloft.com and go to the “Forms” page and fill out a “Cancellation Form”. Terminating the agreement after the first day of school results in refunding of rental fee according to the following schedule:
- 1st week – 75%
- 2nd week – 50%
- 3rd week – 25%
- 4th week – No refund
What is the replacement cost of a bed loft?
$300.00
Can I get a loft later on in the school year?
Yes, simply contact Collegiate Marketing at www.bedloft.com or call them at (866) 651-LOFT to make arrangements to rent a loft.
I don’t want my loft any more…what should I do with it?
EARLY RETURN
In the event that you leave school prior to the end of the academic year, you will need to arrange a time to return your product. (Please allow at least one week notice for scheduling)
Go to our website www.bedloft.com and click the "Contact Us" icon to send us a message. Be sure to include the date you will be leaving and days and times that work best for you to meet with our service personnel. We will contact you via phone or e-mail to arrange a pick up time.
SEMESTER RETURN
If you plan to leave school at the end of the fall semester, or decide you no longer want to use the Loft, you will need to return the product. The return information is posted on the website www.bedloft.com, under "Important Dates".
YEAR-END RETURN
At the end of the year you will receive a flier in the mail detailing pick up dates, times and locations to return your product. This information will also be listed on our website www.bedloft.com, under "Important Dates".
Renting Lofts
Costs
A loft with a shelf is $109.00 per year with taxes.
A loft without a shelf is $99.00 per year with taxes.
During the Summer
You can pre-register your loft rental from www.bedloft.com through August 15th, 2007. If you pre-register, a loft will be reserved for you for the coming year. You will also be able to use your credit card to rent the loft.
After August 15th, lofts may be rented as long as supplies last. If you did not pre-register, lofts will be made available during a campus-wide distribution, which will take place on Saturday, September 5 at 1:00pm-5:00pm, Sunday, September 6 at 9:00am-4:00pm, and Monday, September 7 at 9:00am-4:00pm in Parking Lot 13 . Payment at the distribution site may be in the form of cash or check, with checks made out to Collegiate Marketing, Inc. (or CMI).
