Conferences
Conferences are great opportunities to gain valuable leadership skills and meet new people away from the campus. Attending these conferences also allows residents to compare leadership styles and gain new ideas for helping other students.
WURHA
The state conference is called WURHA (Wisconsin United Residence Hall Association). WURHA will be held March 5-7, 2010 at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
GLACURH
GLACURH (Great Lakes Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls) includes schools from Wisconsin, Michigan, Ontario, Illinois, and Indiana. GLACURH takes place before Thanksgiving. Registration for this conference is due the last week of September.
This year's GLACURH is being held at Central Michigan University, November 13 to 15.
NACURH
The final conference of the year is NACURH (National Association of College and University Residence Halls) which takes place during the weekend leading into Memorial Day. Applications are due after Spring Break.
2010's NACURH will be held in the University of California San Diego from June 21-24.
