Welcome to USRH Online

		The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh USRH members would like to welcome you to our website. Please, take some time and have a look around, find out what kind of things are happening in the residence halls, or find out something about USRH itself. If you are interested in getting involved on campus, contact us and we will try to find a committee that interests you. We cover almost every aspect of campus life by taking down comments, concerns, or other request about the food on campus via our Food Committee.

Scholarship Applications!

EVENT:  WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2009 IS PIE YOUR HALL LEADER from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Scott Hall Main Lounge.  Pay to Pie someone and the money goes to bringing larger delegations to conferences.

This week's meeting is located in GCC Titan Lounge at 4:30pm (for Thursday, November 19, 2009).

CURRENT GOING-ONS IN USRH

• USRH passed our budget for the year on November 5, 2009.  If there are any questions, please contact Treasurer Jessica LeClair at leclaj12@mio.uwosh.edu.
• USRH passed the proposal Hall Funds + Treasurer = Love on November 12, 2009.  It can be found in the Proposals section on the website.
• We are voting on the proposal Hall Representatives + DIA - Secretary = Logical on November 19, 2009 [next meeting].  It can be found in the Proposals section on the website.
• USRH introduced a new proposal entitled Committee Chairs + Monthly Meetings = Success.  It can be found in the Proposals section on the website.
• Minutes can be found in the Minutes section on the website.
• GLACURH happened this last weekend!  The delegation had a good time while learning about programs and ways to better teams.  University of Wisconsin Oshkosh had a Top 12 Program (Ashley Eberle and Lindy Stein)--Congratulations! Likewise, our banner got (tied for) 3rd place in our division.  Stop in the USRH Office to see it!
• Other projects we are working on:  new residence hall!, smoking policy, charity ideas, updating our ByLaws and Constitution, and improving executive board positions.

Open USRH positions!

We are still currently looking for some hall representatives (ask your RHDs if there are any open positions).  Likewise, there is an Leadership Development Committee Co-Chair open, an Election Commissioner position open, and a National Residence Hall Honorary representative available.  If anyone is interested, please email Secretary Molly Kopplin at kopplm95@mio.uwosh.edu for further information.

Weekly USRH Meeting

The USRH meetings take place every Thursday at 4:30pm in Reeve Memorial Union Room 202 (except during breaks). All interested individuals are invited to attend the meeting and hear about upcoming events and issues in the residence halls.

Guest Speakers

Would you like to come to a USRH Meeting and speak to our Assembly? If so here are a few things you should know.

• Contact the USRH President from the contact page with your name, contact information, as well as a short statement of what you would like to speak about, by 4pm on the Tuesday before the meeting which you would like to speak at. 
• Arrive to Reeve 202 by 4:20 pm on the date that you are given to speak.
• You will be given 10 minutes to present your topic, as well as have some questions from the Assembly. If you have something to pass out please bring 45 copies.
